Buckhead - Atlanta Ga

Even though Buckhead is not a recognized city in itself, most Atlantans like to refer to the name Buckhead because of it's national claim to fame as being the "Manhattan" or "Beverly Hills" of Atlanta. Buckhead is located about 10 miles north of downtown Atlanta and just south of Roswell GA.

Buckhead Real Estate is well known for it's many highrise Condo Developments and extremely lavish and expensive Estate Homes. Buckhead Real Estate prices are up there, so those looking to live in a lap of luxury, be prepared to spend more than $300k for a decent condo or $900k for a reasonable house. Real Estate taxes are not the prettiest either, but then fast-paced urban environment with incredible shops and delightful resaturants makes up for it.

Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza are "THE" places to get your shopping done around Buckhead. Buckhead is also well known to be the financial hub of Atlanta.
